My voice is that of a woman who has seen changes, growth and reversals. I have experienced the ebb and flow of what society has expected, and sometimes demanded, of women over the years. Within this context, I say, "Let's look at this -- see who we are, what we've done, and most important how we feel." Mixing a fusion of representational and abstract art with a dash of whimsy, my images offer my view of the female human condition.
Carol Kleinman has been creating art all her life and has worked in a wide variety of media. She was born in Hawaii and grew up on the island of Oahu and in
San Francisco. She received a B.A. from the University of California, Riverside and holds a Masters Degree from Claremont College.
Carol has traveled extensively. Her work has been recognized in shows in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, Russia. She is a member of T.A.G. (The Artists' Gallery) in Santa Monica, California.
