Statement

In my installations and objects, it is the physical experience of the ephemeral and of things intangible or lost that intrigues me. I deal in a language of natural materials turned into sign and symbol. It interests me that real things disappear, yet remain timelessly present in memory and images. Yet things also slip away, go unnoticed or cannot be held onto. I see my art as a way to investigate that resonant hollow spot that tells us erasure, silence and something not-there is meaningful and not 'nothing'.
