Founded in 2005 by artist Linda Lundell, EcoArt is an active circle of SCWCA artists focused on our earth’s environmental crisis, who have come together to learn and in turn, inspire others with their art work to take the necessary actions to move towards a sustainable future. In 2007, we hosted our first collaborative 2007 EcoArt exhibition in Barnsdall Park at the Junior Arts Center that included artists talks and a full color catalog. The participating artists included: Ruth Askren, Ulla Barr, Gregor Goethals, Ann Isolde, Julie Kornblum, Linda Lundell, Cathy Salser, Hani Shafran, Gabriela Sincich. Deborah Thomas and France White.

Please join us!

All SCWCA members are encouraged to join in our ongoing learning at monthly meetings. Non-members can attend one time as a guest to learn about SCWCA and this activist group. Our 2008 reading list includes Earth, the Sequel by Fred Krupp and The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight by Thom Hartman. Email ecoArt Chair Julie Kornblum for additional information.
