An important part of SCWCA's mission is to sponsor exhibitions showcasing the work of women artists.

There is one annual Curator's Choice show open to all members in good standing who have submitted slides or are active on the Artists' Registry. SCWCA members may also organize a group exhibition hosted in the SCWCA Atrium Gallery. Email exhibitions@scwca.org for a copy of the Exhibition RFP Guidelines.

Other exhibitions are usually theme-oriented and organized by the Exhibition Committee, often in conjunction with guest curators at venues across the southland.

Members can also submit news of solo and group exhibitions for listing in the monthly eNewsletter to enews@scwca.org.

Multiple Vantage Points: Southern California Women Artists, 1980-2006
Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery — February 25 - April 15, 2007
Curated by Dextra Frankel, the exhibition featured fifty artists working in performance, traditional and new media practices. Organized to complement WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution, 1965-1980 at MOCA and explore connections between the dynamic women artists working in Southern California today and the early global history of feminist art. Top Drawer
SCWCA Atrium Gallery at The Brewery — March 1 to 3, 2007
Seven member artists formed THE LADIES' FLUFF & FOLD SOCIETY to present Top Drawer, their first show together. The title refers to a woman's bedroom dresser where she keeps her finest personal possessions, in this case, favorite works of art.
