Exhibition walk-thru of "Under the Big Black Sun" at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA

As a part of the Pacific Standard Time initiative, this survey exhibition examines the rise of pluralistic art practices across the state spanning the years of 1974 to 1981, beginning with Richard Nixon’s resignation and ending with Ronald Reagan’s inauguration.

SCWCA tour and artist's talk on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 to welcome Galerie Anaïs at Bergamot Station.

Galerie Anaïs at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica features emerging and mid-career local artists. The debut show "Lost Horizons" features new works by Los Angeles painter Merion Estes. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue with an essay by Betty Ann Brown.
